FAKTOR – FAKTOR PENYEBAB MATA KERING PEMAKAI LENSA KONTAK LUNAK DI PALANGKARAYA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the causes of dry eyes at the Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. The population in this study were all patients who came to buy contact lenses on the optical at Palangkaraya. The sampling system used in this study is a random sampling method that takes random samples. Samples were selected as many as 25 patients. Research method with descriptive qualitative. From the results of the discussion, it resulted that contact lenses had an effect on the incidence of dry eyes with the hygiene factor (40% didnot handwash), the factor of wearing contact lenses in an air-conditioned room(65% affected) and the factor of the duration of wearing contact lenses (60%  wear contact lenses more than 10 hours).
